France have beaten South Africa 24-13 to win the IRB Under 21 World Championship final.
Fly half Lionel Beauxis was the hero, scoring all his side's points with six penalties and a drop goal.
Earlier, New Zealand came from behind at the break tro defeat Australia and claim third place in the final standings.
England overpowered Ireland 34-8 to secure fifth place.
Fiji came from 19-7 down at half time to record an impressive 21-19 victory over Scotland in Thiers, and claim ninth place overall.
In the early matches on day five, Argentina defeated Wales 28-12 in the battle for seventh, whilst Italy edged Georgia 12-9 in Thiers in the 11th place play-off.
